Computer Monitors
A newer computer monitor, or visual display unit, most often is made of a thin film transistor liquid crystal display or TFT-LCD. This same TFT-LCD is used in many electronics including TVs, mobile phones, navigation systems and projectors. Other types of displays include cathode ray tube (CRT), surface-conduction electron-emitter display (SED) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display. Whether you are replacing a broken monitor or upgrading to a new, sleek design, where your monitor goes after it leaves your hands is something to think about.
