2. Take Notes Electronically
Take your notes on your laptop or tablet device. Many professors now post their lectures and other material online for students to review before their lecture. Take advantage of this by adding your own notes to these materials electronically. This cuts down on the amount of paper used and allows you to share your notes more easily with classmates (as well as create unique study material for later in the semester).
