Spring has officially sprung, and with it comes bright skies, warmer weather and plenty of beautiful blooms to enjoy.

With this cute and clever craft project from Beverly of Flamingo Toes, you can easily put spring flowers on display using something we all have plenty of: picture frames.

Snag a few unused frames from your closet (or pick some up at a local thrift store), and add simple household materials like glass bottles and twine to create pretty bud vases that are perfect for fresh spring flowers.

Beverly used store-bought vases to complete her project. But small glass bottles, such as those used to package olive oil, vinegar and salad dressing, would make a great zero-waste substitute. Use this handy Instructables guide to remove the labels from your bottles with less water (and elbow grease!).
