I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter. Everything was so overwhelming. From the correct exercise and the appropriate amount of tuna to eat (or not) to all the baby gear you need to have ready and the staggering number of diapers my baby would go through in her first year alone, there was just SO much to attend to. That’s why I love the trend of baby boutiques that specialize in eco-friendly, all natural products. Shops like Preggie Baby Boutique are one-stop shops (literally) for moms-to-be who are looking for products that are good for their babies and the environment.

Successful pregnancy and baby blogger DP Nguyen decided to branch out one day and opened Preggie Baby as an extension of her blogging efforts. Many of her readers were pregnant women, women attempting to conceive and new moms, so it seemed like the natural next step to open an online shop. Preggie Baby gave her the opportunity to bring some of her favorite pregnancy and baby products directly to her readers. At the boutique, moms can easily shop for eco-friendly products, all from the comfort of their homes. “Our mission at Preggie Baby Boutique,” says DP, “is offering safe, innovative and environmentally-friendly products for mom and baby.”

Everything from natural rubber pacifiers and baby bath products from HEVEA to Earth Mama Angel Baby skincare products and non-GMO tea is offered at Preggie Baby. Each item offered on the site is free of harsh chemicals and additives. All of the products that touch babies’ skin or are put into babies’ mouths are BPA-free, PVC-free, phthalate-free and free of any artificial ingredients.

The selection at Preggie Baby Boutique isn’t limited to just lotions and pacifiers, however. If you’re into belly casts and belly painting, they have kits for each activity in stock. I never got into that trend, but I know it’s a big thing now, so there you go. Pregnancy pillows are another great product offered on the site, because trying to sleep when eight months along is hard enough. These full and half-body pillows help you get a good night’s rest while knowing that you’re cuddling up to a pillow that’s good for the environment.

I love that they sell prenatal yoga DVDs and some cool silicon watches that help you keep track of feedings while you try to keep track of the time of day. An unrealistic goal, I know, but new moms are allowed such lofty thinking. Preggie Baby Boutique looks forward to expanding in the future to include cloth diapers, BPA-free bottles and fashion accessories for baby.
