Plastic Casing

Plastic casing includes any plastic outer shell that surrounds the internal workings of a product. This type of casing is mostly used for electronics. Due to our advances in technology and the short life of electronic devices, high numbers of electronics are disposed of as e-waste. In 2005, approximately two million tons of electronic products were discarded, with only 15 to 20 percent being recycled.
