We treat this data as non-Personal Information, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. Earth911’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Earth911’s visitors use its Services. Earth911 only uses this data in aggregate form. We may provide aggregate information to our partners about how our customers, collectively, use our site, so that our partners may also understand how often people use their services and our Service.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) created by your use of the Services. Earth911 may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. For instance, Earth911 may monitor the most popular search items or the most widely read articles. Information You Provide to Us
You may choose to provide certain information to us, including your name, phone number, address, email address, organization name, title, comments, survey responses and other volunteered information you provide to us. In the unlikely event that Earth911 goes out of business, enters bankruptcy or a majority of all of its assets were acquired, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Earth911 may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Your open and honest comments are encouraged on Earth911′s website. Earth911 asks that you please be respectful: any comments using hate-speech or profanity will be deleted. Users who repeatedly spam the website will be banned. Also, solicitations of any kind will be removed. Comments may be removed at the sole discretion of Earth911′s Administrators. Comments and other content submitted to us becomes our property.
